WHO WE ARE

Natalie is the Principal Interior Designer and owner of Onyx & Echo Interior Design, a firm she founded in 2020 with the vision of creating spaces that are both beautiful and highly functional. Her passion for design began early, and it was this drive that led her to pursue formal studies in Interior Design at the post-secondary level, training in both Toronto, ON, and Vancouver, BC. During this time, she developed a strong foundation in design principles and project management, preparing her for a dynamic career in the building and design industry.

Over the next five years, Natalie gained extensive hands-on experience working across multiple facets of the industry. She worked her way up through residential and commercial projects, learning the ins and outs of coordinating with trades, vendors, and contractors. This experience has made her exceptionally skilled at managing complex projects, ensuring that every detail is executed with precision while staying true to the client’s vision. Her dedication, professionalism, and deep understanding of design logistics make her an invaluable asset to every project she undertakes.

Natalie’s approach to design is highly collaborative and client-focused. Her enthusiasm for her profession is contagious, and she prides herself on building strong, trusting relationships that allow her clients to feel confident and inspired throughout the design process. Every project she leads reflects a balance of creativity, functionality, and meticulous attention to detail.

Recently, Natalie and her husband Tyler transitioned from city life to embrace the charm and pace of Minnedosa, MB. Outside the office, Natalie enjoys time on the golf course refining her short game, relaxing with a good book and a glass of red wine, and, most importantly, spending time with her family. She is a proud mom to their son, Miller, who recently turned three, and daughter Stevie, welcomed in February 2025. For Natalie, family and design go hand in hand — both are about creating spaces where people feel comfortable, inspired, and truly at home.
